Here at Valley Supply, we pride ourselves on customer service. We work very hard to train our employees to give us the advantage over our competition. We strive to make our warehouses and our sales people the most knowledgeable in the business and we have two box trucks covering the surrounding areas of Petersburg, Moorefield, Parsons, Western Maryland, Mt. Storm, Belington, Philippi, Durbin and Marlinton.
Valley Supply was founded in 1905 as the Baldwin Chandlee Supply Company. In 1915 the name was shortened to Balwdin Supply and in 1924 the name was changed to Valley Supply Company.
Valley Supply was originated as a mine and supply company with several auxiliary businesses such as a Buick dealership, blacksmith shop and a leather shop and also sold guns, stoves and bicycle parts.
Today Valley Supply is the largest wholesaler in West Virginia, and carries a full line of plumbing, heating and cooling, pipe, valves and fittings and hardware. Our central distribution center is located in Clarksburg, and three other stores are operated in Elkins, Parkersburg and St. Albans.
In 2009, Valley Supply Company expanded its product line and DreamScapes Bath and Home Gallery joined the Valley Supply family. DreamScapes represents a complete transformation from a facility, where many special merchandise items were traditionally ordered from a catalog, to a comfortable, well-lit showroom. The showrooms at our Elkins and Parkersburg locations allow customers to enjoy a first-hand view of the merchandise.
